A PRESENTATION ABOUT THE HISTORY OF AN INVENTION (Friday, 23rd April)

1- You can use the internet, the library or MYON to find out about the history of an invention.

2- Make notes about WHO INVENTED IT, FIRST MODELS, HOW IT HAS CHANGED OVER THE YEARS, WHAT THE INVENTION IS LIKE NOW.

3-Organise your notes into sections using, for example, the headings in 2-. You can add or change headings.

4- Add sequencing phrases to guide your audience through the presentation: 

"Today, we're going to talk about..."

"to sum up..."

5-Remember you can work in pairs, you can practise your presentation together. Decide who is going to talk about each different section. 

6-You can "share screen"with pictures or slides to support your presentation.

7-If you are listening to a presentation, write a question to ask at the end.

8-At the end, discuss how you think these inventions will change in the future.
